The problem is not with the maximum size of 32bit integers, but with sane values for what this tweak actually does.
It does not set the total available memory for the game, but the size of individual stack frames. The default value is 75k! Values of for stack frames are crazy, and there is a clear warning that values much higher than the default 75k can cause serious problems.
